Boarding School Concern

(formerly Boarding School Survivors – Support)

BSConcern is here to be a bridge to healing the hidden impact of boarding school through support and information you can trust.

Our long-term goal is to create a cultural shift by shining a light on boarding school harm, becoming a beacon of hope so that every former boarder feels safe, heard and understood.

  • We help ex-boarders understand and recover from their boarding experience.
  • We provide information for current boarders, their friends and family, and those considering boarding for their children.

We do so through an annual conference, newsletters, information, and responding personally to any and every enquiry. Explore our growing website for advice and resources and to make contact with us.

“Since its inception, BSConcern’s dedicated group of directors has created a great resource for parents, for current school students as well as ex-boarders. Those who attended boarding schools and suffered as a result are often relieved to find that they are not alone and BSConcern is often the first port of call.”
